EMERGING ARTISTS AT TJT

Three emerging artists—Dan Wolf, Amy Tobin, and Robbie Gringras—present distinctive glimpses of progressive Jewish identity. Through humor, hip-hop, original music and story, these three exceptional solo artists are stretching the boundaries of Jewish performance.

Hip-hop performer Dan Wolf explores the discovery of his German-Jewish roots in an updated version of Stateless.

Amy Tobin and her band offer up an Electro-Acoustic Cabaret exploring what’s mythical about the mundane.

 Israeli writer/performer, Robbie Gringras’s The Situation Comedy takes a harsh look at the current stresses of life in Israel through a serio-comic lens. Presented by special arrangement with the Israel Center.
